Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the same world as Indiana Jones? Well, it doesn’t have to be a thing of fantasies. Al Khazneh, the giant sandstone temple built in one of the more mesmerizing places on earth, is in Petra, Jordan. It was featured in the film as the Canyon of the Crescent Moon.

While this spot doesn’t actually hold the Holy Grail, it is nonetheless a gorgeous spot for history buffs and film enthusiasts alike. It was carved out of sandstone rock in the first century A.D. It’s been a very popular tourist attraction ever since the location was rediscovered by Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt in 1812.
